Why do PVC floors need maintenance?
- Improve appearance: promptly remove dirt generated during daily use, so that the elastic floor can fully demonstrate its extraordinary appearance and natural gloss.
- Protect the floor: Protect the elastic floor from accidental chemicals, cigarette butt marks, shoe prints, oil and water, etc., and reduce the mechanical wear and tear on the surface to a minimum, so that the durability of the floor itself can be fully exerted, thereby extending the floor’s service life.
- Easy care: Due to the tight surface structure and special treatment of the elastic floor itself, paying attention to daily cleaning and maintenance can make the floor easier to care for and extend its service life.
PVC floor care precautions:
- All kinds of dirt on the ground should be removed in time.
- It is absolutely forbidden to soak the floor in open water. Although some floors use waterproof glue to cut off water sources (such as floor drains, water rooms, etc.), long-term immersion in water will seriously affect the service life of the floor. During the cleaning process, use a water suction machine to suck up the sewage in time.
- The maintenance cycle should be shortened in places with heavy traffic and heavy wear and tear.
- It is absolutely prohibited to use hard and rough cleaning tools (such as steel balls, scouring pads, etc.) to prevent sharp objects from colliding with the elastic floor.
- It is strongly recommended to place foot mats at the entrances of public places with high traffic volume to prevent dirt, sand, etc. from being brought in to contaminate and scratch the floor materials.
Several stages of PVC floor maintenance:
- Clean and maintain the floor after it is laid/before use.
- Daily cleaning and maintenance.
- Regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Complete renovation.
- Treatment of special dirt.
